Design Energetics Consultancy Launches

Michael Warden, author of "Design Energetics - The Ancient Pulse of Feng Shui in the Modern World" (see www.designenergetics.com) is about to launch a Design Energetics consultancy.

It will be the first international agency providing specific design advice on how environments can actively support all aspects of peoples' lives and businesses.

“I’m delighted to be finally launching Design Energetics as a multi-disciplinary solution to solving problems related to our surroundings,” says Michael Warden. “My eighteen years research into building biology, the influences of electro-magnetic fields, the physiological impact of colour, the effect on the body of underground streams, the ancient art of feng shui and modern theories on energy fields, have all been brought together in Design Energetics, which I believe offers a proven answer to creating health, wealth and happiness in individuals, workplaces and communities.”

There will be a press launch on the evening of Tuesday 23rd June. For details, please get in touch.

JustShare lectures and debates in July 2009

The next JustShare lecture on Christian social and political thought will look at the Lord’s Prayer to ask whether or not issues of justice and peace should be central to the Christian life. The lecture, titled Our Father: A Prayer for Justice? will be delivered by Father Timothy Radcliffe OP, the former Master of the Dominican Order Worldwide. Introducing him will be Canon Robert Wright, Sub-Dean of Westminster Abbey, Rector of St Margaret’s Westminster and Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons. The Lecture will take place on July 22nd from 6-7 pm.

Also coming up is a JustShare debate on tax havens. Offshore Financial Centres - Blessing or Curse? will explore whether tax havens are corrupt and exploitative, undermining fair principles of competition and good governance, or whether they can help create opportunities for entrepreneurship in the developing world. Taking part in this debate on July 14th from 13:00 - 14:00 will be FT columnist and author John Kay; Howard Bilton, Chair of the Sovereign Group, which sets up and manages on and offshore companies and trusts; and John Whiting, Tax Policy Director at the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Both events will take place at St Mary-le-Bow Church, EC2V 6AU, in the City of London, and be followed by free Fairtrade wine and fruit juice.
